Odd that the New Limited papers printed many condolence tweets from Adelaide Sporting clubs (from memory: the Bite Baseball, 36ers basketball and of course Port in the AFL, but not the AUFC one. Who says I'm paranoid? lol
Its probably due to the person writing the article not following AU in social media. I don't really think its an issue.
I'm inclined to go with 'grenache-up over conspiracy' in most cases and given the shoddy standards at our News (very) Limited newspaper here in ADL I wouldn't be at all surprised if they just didn't even think to check the AUFC twitter feed, as you say.
Red til Dead, AUFC all the way!!

You sir are a joke.

Whether he is or isnt a Football (soccer) person, this is someone who is active in Sport and deserves the respect. I dont even like the Crows, but as someone involved in a sporting club, when you lose key people suddenly to passing away, it can have a major impact on the club.

Anyways, here is our tribute which attracted over 200 likes. Our Football people do care.

Both the Crows and AUFC represent our city and State on a larger stage. In that respect we are brothers in arms and when a 'bother' falls, you pay your respects. I was pleased to see 2 AUFC shirts and a couple of scarves at the West Lakes tribute site.

I am disappointed you needed to state how many likes you got, putting a post as a respect shouldn't be about getting people to like it.

Wasnt trying to state how many we achieved, more so that a lot of people agreed with our one min silence, so alot of people cared about the situation.

How do you get 200 likes when you only have 6 fans anyway at a home game :-)

BOLLOCKS the jets have one of the biggest support groups.

Check you bar takings and Gate, might add that Metro had their league winners 2008 team that night IF you want to get your facts right.

this is a terrible thread this and pointless discussion and to flick some facebook is proving "what"

You obviously don't use facebook either. I am sick of nearly every post being about this.

The son of former Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh has pleaded not guilty to his father's murder because of mental incompetence.

Well its been decided that Cy Walsh will be in an mental institution indefinitely - it must be hard for his mother and sister on a number of levels.

Mental incompetence shouldn't be a defence. Anyone who stabs anyone that many times is shiraz in the head.

As my daughter said in the car yesterday - surely anyone who murders someone isn't exactly right in the head.

That's why it shouldn't be used as a defence.
