Yes, pity you can't swap some of your rugby players for your cricketers, that way you might show a bit of fight in the 5th test. But then again, Fijians, Samoans & Tongans don't play cricket.

Any comments now?
Yes. We'll win 5-0 at home next time so keep the trophy shiny for us.

PS - yes, the rugby was a great win last night, and another case of beer coming my way as a result. :D

Only saw the second half, as I was busy watching England win the Ashes, but was a great half.

Its been a long time since I saw the Wallabies sort out their line out, were competitive in scrums and kicked well for the extra points when on offer. Maybe this coach is the one who can get them back as a WC threat.

Stop trying to deflect - you're cabernet at cricket.

I'll have to start a new rugby thread. :D

Argies smashing the saffers was interesting too - anyone seen or heard from Jonny Lidon lately?

Loving all the Aussies lining unto tell the world what a champagne Clarke is.

I see Brad Haddin has just quit the tour. Any comments from the bunch that slated Swann?

Swann left to be with his family, same as Haddin.

Swann left once the series was dead, same as Haddin.

If it's true about the cancer (not heard that) then what sort of a father is Haddin?

About Clarke back in what, 2008? What's that got to do with the current Ashes, and his retirement?

He also said "“But he learnt from that, he became a much better person and a much better player through those lessons.’’

What's it got to do with it? Well it shows his attitude was terrible and he was up himself. So many ex colleagues slating him now as a divisive character in the dressing room and having a poor attitude.

To be honest - I'm loving it, loving the back stabbing, retirements, quitting mid series etc. I now know how you lot all loved it 18 months ago.

It was probably brown.

I wonder if he refused to take the first few couches unless he got his own way.

Only thing worse would be to lose 5-0. That cant happen (to us), so I guess you're stuck with the "worst of the worst" prize as well.

That was a previous series - what's the score in the present one?

Are you winning it, do you have any chance of winning it?

This series is fantastic, players quitting mid tour, someone going home as soon as the series is lost, captain quits and everyone lining up to say what an idiot he is.

LOVE IT

Not 5-0.
Your argument is valid as Uruguay claiming to be a world powerhouse because they won a couple of world cups a few years back.
English is weird. It can be understood through tough thorough thought, though.

"lucky country"??     at least half your population don't think it's "the lucky country" just ask all the ones without a job, the ones living on the streets, the Aborigines, the ones who can't afford 3 meals a day,the ones who can't afford proper health care, the young people who can't afford to buy a house & never will, the ones that live in their cars, the children who go to school every day without eating breakfast & with no lunch (teachers clubbing together to buy the poor kids some breakfast), yes, ask them if they think it's the lucky country. Yes, the same can be said of all countries. The difference is that they don't go around claiming to be "the lucky country". So bumber, pull your head out of that sand "between the lake & the sea" and throw away the red & white specs.

You are right, but the only ones who are living on the streets, cant buy a house, cant care for own kids blah blah are usually due to their own laziness or stupidity. Its not that the country doesn't offer every opportunity, is it. In the majority of cases, people are "victims" of their own poor choices.
I never called Australia the lucky country (myself), its just generally known as such but even a numpty like you would know that.
And end of the day, if you don't like it, sod off.
