Shocking news, doesn't matter whom u support in AFL, this is a tragedy.
Condolences to Walsh and his family, crows, port, geelong and west coast and all those whom have had the pleasure working with him.

RIP Phil Walsh. Rivalry gets put aside in times like these. Absolutely sickening news to wake up to.

Re: Phil Walsh
Be hard to see the Crows v Cats game go ahead, but given the AFL are so "inflexible" with re-scheduling, you'd wonder if they'd even try.
I actually picked Crows to win this week in footy pools - now I don't know whether to change it. :?
Still hard to fathom the whole thing and the club must be shattered, especially after Dean Bailey passing not that long ago.

Game should go ahead
People have bought tickets, people have travelled, people have made arrangements.

Ridiculous decision, what little integrity this competition has is now gone. Would be funny to see both teams miss finals or top 4 by 2 points.totsreds08 wrote:Both teams awarded two points and games cancelled. Good decision.

Re: Phil Walsh
The scheduling is too hard to play it another time. Geelong and crows would be at a disadvantage if they played a different time (presuming it would be midweek).Bomber wrote:Should have ben replayed later on, but can understand why called off this weekend.
Only real option they had.

Personally I think the fixture should have been postponed, not turned into a cricket style no result with points split.

Re: Phil Walsh
Why? Because I believe the premier club competition in a sport should be decided by the organisers just deciding that a game was a draw. Just play the game midweek in a few weeks time.El Paso del Norte wrote:Then you're a knobGod is an Englishman wrote:Stop trolling by accusing me of trollingEl Paso del Norte wrote:Shit trolling hawkesy

Don't move the goal posts now.
If the bloke had had a heart attack, maybe you could consider it, but he was murdered.
Either a cabernet troll or you are a knob

The game should have gone ahead, if it doesn't then it should be replayed later. That was the point about the stupidity of the 2 points.
As for the insult, well if I'm a cabernet troll why are you responding. That would imply that if I am troll I'm getting you. Can't be that cabernet.
As for knob, been called a lot worse by people whose opinions I might even care about. You're not even on my radar.
