Aussie strong on drugs
Well until it involves an Aussies.
Good to see it's still only Chinese swimmers doing the wrong thing.

That being said the disgraceful thing is that no one can tell the (sheep-like-doing-as-they-were-told-with-not-enough-intelligence-or-seemingly-intestinal-fortitude-to-question-it) Essendon players what they did actually take.
Re: Aussie strong on drugs
It's always excuses when Aussies take drugs
We can blame our mothers, like Shane Warne did, even when him and Mark Waugh were on the take with Bookies.
But wait, it's not our fault, we have excuses!!
Fact is drugs are rife in Australian sports. We just think we're better than everyone else

Rife? Tell me about these facts. Those who have been evidenced to have taken banned subtances have been penalised, as far as I can tell. But do go on about the "facts."Ibelieve wrote:It's always excuses when Aussies take drugs

What about the Essendon player who admitted taking a banned substance? What ban did he get?
How long did drug cheat Warne get?
How long did Warne get for taking the bookies cash?

1. Wasn't a banned substance and only later considered that it "might have been" - didn't test positive to it (or anything else), so play on!God is an Englishman wrote:Bomber wrote:Rife? A year, yes ONLY a year
Nothing, someone else brought it up.

Re: Aussie strong on drugs
To me, every time someone has a painkilling injection, its really no different. Yet somehow having a legal over the counter headache tablet can be considered worse. Not saying this is the case here, but it does beg the question about some of WADA's chopping and changing to what's considered "performance enhancing" and what isn't.
Just ban steroids (which its use is a clear intention to cheat) and be done with it!
