Cheating is cheating, end of story. I think you've even piped on that in the past. Don't ask where/when, CBF looking.

Cheating is cheating but there’s also levels of it. That’s why different cheating gets different punishments.

So it has emerged that Ishant's first inning bowling alone had 16 no-balls that weren't called. Makes you wonder again, about standards, especially when such a tight result.
Has been a bug bear of mine in recent years, mainly occurring, so it seems, since DRS introduction, thus slackening off of the men in the middle. Umps hardly ever call no-balls any more. Do they even look? To me it's poor umpiring and guilty parties should be stood down or at least reprimanded to become more vigilant. Funny how they only get stung these days after a batsman is given out, only to be reprieved by replays showing it was a front foot no-ball.

I believe the umpire in question (Long), has been sacked from the series... go figure?

By the way, 36 no balls were not called.
Australia ONLY lost by 31 runs

Out come the Aussie whingers as usual when they've lost. Amazing what a difference a bit of sandpaper makes.

There was no cheating umpires and NO he can't be a POM as they're not allowed to officiate in test matches involving their own countries.

interesting that the WACA groundsma was interviewed today and said that he'd prepared the wicket exactly as he was asked to do.

Who asked him?

Well, maybe racist terms are more your speciality but POM has often been said refers to Prisoner of His Majesty, If he's English his family weren't prisoners or he'd be an aussie.

It's a derogatory term based on nationality. How is it not racist?

Aus 1/112 at the minute. :)

PS - how can being called a pom be racist if you think the term doesn't even belong to you?

I don't believe it should belong to me, however some do and if they use it to describe someone, it's racist.

Still Caucasian, so how is it racist? Do you really find it derogatory?

Racism can also be based on nationality.

Depends on the context its used in.

I saw some footage of a young Indian swing bowler (U/19?) who got 10/11 the other day. The wickets he got were amazing, many of which were bowled.
PS - Kholi is one hell of a numpty - can play cricket but still a numpty

Funny listening to comments from aussie commentators complaining about the "banter" on the pitch.

Last year the English were told to toughen up when it was mentioned that the cons were crossing the line.

I love it when people use troll as an insult, it's normally used by people who have no comeback to the facts.

Many are complaining and if you followed cricket then you would know that.
