I love how the convicts don't allow you to even report on things without getting defensive and playing the whingeing card.
Really? Look at nearly every post of yours on here. All a whinge about anything you don't like about any Australian doing (despite comfortably up in the series). Do we ever hear something great that they're doing? Nah, captain makes 3 first innings tons in a row, but highlight his dropped catches now.
You're worse than the pommy tabloids.

so, now stating how he has dropped 2 simple catches today is whingeing as well. How many runs has he scored today? So I have to comment on yesterday's play before I can comment on today's? Come on Bomber, you're better than this.

I do believe I have said previously how much his batting has inproved

Did you see C9 release a statement that one of the dropped catches was, in part, due to Spidercam?

C'mon even you have to admit that any (other) GIAE post on this topic has been any chance to take a swipe at the Aussies. I see that as a constant badgering, negativity, moaning about any little thing they do, therefore akin to whingeing. Simples

The umpire disagrees with them.

No, don't need one in this case. "Nooooo, look at those naughty Aussies, doing this wrong, look at that, they're complaining again, they cant catch or do maths, noooooo, waaa waaa........." = whingeing.
And whingeing about whingeing is still whingeing!

What is the rule if, for example, it (spidercam) clearly impeded a player (be it batsman or bowler)? Cant do much about it, anyway, surely?
Anyway India now 5/312, Watson with couple quick wickets, meaning he may hang on as an "all-rounder".

They didn't say or do anything. However if they believed it has interfered then a dead ball would have been called.

Unless the ball actually hits it can the umpire declare it a dead ball? What if it moves before the bowler has released the ball? I don't even know why it is needed anyway.

So they haven't disagreed with C9's statement (that the ball did not hit the wire or cam).

The umpires don't call a dead ball if the sun impedes the players' sight of the ball either. But it plays a part in a dropped catch.

They disagreed by not calling the dead ball.

Where can I find this Channel 9 statement?

CRICKET Australia and Channel 9 have issued a joint statement about the Spidercam incident which has dominated day three.
“We have spoken about the matter involving Spidercam and the dropped catch before lunch and it’s clear the ball did not hit the camera or its supporting wires,” the joint statement read.
“Captain Steve Smith was distracted by one of the wires in his eye line. Both CA and Nine will continue to work together on the use of Spidercam in the broadcast coverage and will take on board any player feedback as necessary.
“As it stands, if any player has a concern about the placement of Spidercam they can ask the umpires for it to be moved.
“Spidercam technology has been used in Nine’s international cricket coverage for many years and is used in other major sporting events such as the SuperBowl, NRL and AFL Grand Finals.”

Even Darren Lehmann shrugged it off, saying its just one of those things and spidercam should stay. All in all just a moment of frustration at dropping the catch more than anything else.

Remember when the cons complained that the English were getting too easily distracted by movement behind the bowlers arm too easily but now the convict being distracted by a wire. Haha.

Precisely, I agree. How is it a whinge to state he dropped 2 catches?

Never an issue in England.
I'm not playing anymore and I'm taking my ball and going home.

Well if you don't then you should understand a bit more about test cricket. A test match doesn't need to go a 4 an over to be interesting, cons don't seem to get this - must be their short attention spans.

Nothing to do with that at all, just a case of wanting India at least give it a go whilst they had a chance of winning.

Fair enough, natural assumption was the usual Aussie whinge. Apologies.
