There will still be plenty of fans able to experience The Ashes whether people can come from England or not.

I've never said they can't be heard.

Normally fans go to games but in this case I'd say fans are someone who is trying to go to the game.

So youre only a fan if you go to or try to go to a sporting event of your supported team?

Is there a time limit to your theory of being a fan, or does one appearance or effort to go to a live game count as a fan for life?

What counts as trying to go to a game to be considered a fan according to your fan theory?

Just trying to understand what your theory of a fan constitutes and the rules around it.

Genuine attempts only accepted.

I have often said that you have to have seen your team that season. I would accept someone not having seen their team if they had played behind closed doors all last season. As long as they saw a game in 19/20 then they have until the end of this season.

What counts as trying to go to a game to be considered a fan according to your fan theory, i.e whats a "genuine attempt"?

What about if someone lives overseas and they havent been able to see their team/country live in multiple seasons / years, i guess that would mean they are no longer a fan correct?

According to your theory are you close to not being a fan of Millwall (assuming that the reason you said 19/20 season is because thats when you last went to a match)?

19/20 is because it was the last season not effected by covid and closed stadiums.

A genuine attempt would be applying for tickets but not getting any. If the game isn't sold out then you havent tried hard enough.

You seem to have missed this one again

What counts as trying to go to a game to be considered a fan according to your fan theory, i.e whats a "genuine attempt"?

According to your theory are you close to not being a fan of Millwall (assuming that the reason you said 19/20 season is because thats when you last went to a match)?
19/20 is because it was the last season not effected by covid and closed stadiums.

A genuine attempt would be applying for tickets but not getting any. If the game isn't sold out then you havent tried hard enough.
According to your theory are you a fan of Millwall or not a fan? When did you last see a game of theirs?
Of course I am. I saw them in 2019. I had to postpone my 2020 trip.
So i guess if you dont get to a game before season end next year then i guess you will no longer be a fan.
Correct, unless of course the Australian government do not allow people to leave and I have to change my flights again.
Will you change your profile picture if you are no longer a fan according to your theory?

Why would I change my profile picture? I am not a member of the group my profile picture is from anyway. Plus, I have flights booked to watch them this season.

All good. As I'm sure 99.9% of people would still consider you a fan whether you saw them, booked flight or didn't at all lol
