Drive Time Sports Show

Post by Old Redback »

Any thoughts?
The 5AA show is getting a bit tired - Rowey is predictable and one eyed like his predecessors Cornesey and KG. Thought we had finally got rid of the dinosaur Cornesey who is so out of date it's not funny but he stioll crops up.
Triple M was great with Roo and Ditts but I also like Jarman and Dale Lewis and I especially like Dale Lewis' irreverance and their willingness to put the boot into Warren Tredrea (how the hell did he get a career in media!)
Ultimately though we still lag horribly behind SEN.

Tredders knows his stuff though!

Triple M is the only drive time sports show worth listening to, Rowey and Bones are boring and repeat themselves over n over. Rucci popping up on there is beyond boring, and is the same outcome every week, arguing with Rowey.

Seriously?

both shows make me want to drive into a stobie pole whilst simultaneously slitting my wrists.

especially jars and Louie, shithouse jokes and as AFL bogan as you can get.

what's the alternative? not many decent radio stations around at the moment, unless you want to listen to the same latest pop Barossa Pearl song every 15 minutes.

Little round things that can magically play the music of your choice if inserted into the right spot in your car. :D

Yeh but seriously sometimes Tredders sounds like a drip and loves the sounds of his own voice.

This morning he was making 5 points on what they we were discussing and he went point 1, 2, 3, 2 ,3

16Gb USB stick, unless youre driving to Europe and back, ill guarantee you wont hear the same song twice.

or within mobile data range, tunein radio, you can find anything you want, including sports shows

Did anyone hear the embarrassing performance the other night by Stephen Rowe when interviewing the legend Mick Doohan?

Regularly embarrasses himself - I can recall him asking David Coulthard (obviously Scottish) if he was enjoying England's performances in the cricket.
