How does that work when no one's played? I can only imagine some cabernet performance got lost frmo years ago. How mnay years do the point run through.
If you're number one with that side then I feel bad about the future of test cricket.

Our result was the basis of years if good results, yours is after 4 months.

You made no 1 after a 2-1 or 3-1 win over us, finally got a win in India, we win 5-0 then beat the Saffers on their own turf and yet its due to "other factors"?God is an Englishman wrote:We won ours on the pitch, you won yours because results dropped off the other end.MegaBonus wrote:God is an Englishman

and still it wasn't enough to lift you to number one spot, you had to rely on poor results dropping off at the other end whilst SA lost good results.

Geez, I'm glad Croydon can still be third on the current PL ladder. After all, 4 years ago we were in the second division, so lets take that into account and drop us to around 10th. Would that make you happy?God is an Englishman wrote:

Nice to see that the recent 5-0 is STILL eating you up though!

Rankings are not the same as league position. If you're honest with yourself, you know I'm right.Bomber wrote:Geez, I'm glad Croydon can still be third on the current PL ladder. So how would you describe a 5-0 mauling of england and beating the then no1 on their own turf? Was this all written down by our cricketers? I hear Tiger Woods missed the cut at a tourny a few years ago. I trust his rankings have plummeted.............

No it applies to all of them, eg. sth Africa and England lost a few wins from their rankings. Australia lost 2 losses.
As for Woods missing a cut would have affected his rankings and positively affect it when the cabernet result drops off the other end.
