Davis Cup
Australia look like failing at the first hurdle. Hawkesy must be relishing the chance to cheer on France.
I'm sorry do you have a point or is this just another attempt to take to thread off topic?

It's one of those situations when you wished there was a way that both could lose.God is an Englishman wrote:Ashes Whitewash wrote:I know.God is an Englishman wrote: I'd NEVER cheer on france.

It won't be televised as Australians don't have any chance of winning it.Red-4-Life wrote:French Open...Old Redback wrote:Australia lost so I doubt that we'll hear anything about tennis now for a while.

....and by the way this is just an observation - personally I can't stand tennis anyway and am glad that it won't be on telly.

Re: Davis Cup
Always ready to jump on a Team GB bandwagon, finals here we come . By all accounts Tomic played smart European tennis and only tried in the sets he thought he had a chance of winning.

Didn't really take much notice. Was just going by the players who I saw winning their games against the Australians on some highlights reels.God is an Englishman wrote:Bomber wrote:Scotland did well, congrats. Been a while.
