T20 - Aus v eng
Anyone give a cabernet?
9-1 already, maybe we should just get the retired players to play this for us (Katich, Hussey, Lee, Hogg, Hodge etc) - just to make a game of it.

Re: T20 - Aus v eng
I care about as much as I do about the 50 over stuff. Good for a laugh and want to win but not going to lose too much sleep over it.
Not even seen the squad for it but was surprised that Kieswetter has flown home so he must not be in the squad.
Just looked at the squad, doesn't look too bad but out of 20/20 practice compared to an aussie squad that's been playing Big Bash regularly.

There's only 3 games.WayneO wrote:Yeah you would prefer a 5-0 thrashing!
Seriously is your life that insignificant and you're that insecure in you country being so cabernet at sport that you can't differentiate.
I actually pity you, no I don't. Your ancestors did the crime, now you do the time.

Yes please, let's go with Olympic medals. Summer Olympics? Winter Olympics? Overall? OR even all 3.
Can you please get the facts and figures out.

If a test gets 1 point, surely one dayers get about 0.2 and a T20 0.1? You can't give them equal footing
I make it
5.9 - 0.1

It's not about being "better" it's about being correct.

because a test match is not the same as a 20/20 as witnessed in the women's ashes where they score in a similar manner.

well it is the only thing where England play australia in different formats of essentially the same sport using a points system.

Australia's players should have to bat and bowl left handed (except for the left handers, they should bat and bowl right handed)

I think it also prudent that a "no slogging" rule come into effect when Australia is batting

When you've won the most recent series in England then you will have bragging rights and not until then.
Honours even.
