Goes into every tournament with an injury, so he has an excuse to lose.

You two are a good match
I'm sorry do you have a point or is this just another attempt to take to thread off topic?

Why bring cricket into tennis? Are you that insecure that you have to bring it up all the time?

Excuses for losing, sounds like the English Cricket team....

He did play Nadal right?

I love some of the surnames representing Australia in this. Apart from one or two, they're all "from" South/east Europe. Go your hardest Hawkesy!

What excuses did the England cricket team give?

I wouldn't say he played Nadal, he QUIT mid game when the going got tough.

Time to resurrect the 'Tomic the Tank Engine' headlines.
Time for some righteous indignation

you don't have a choice when it comes to sport in this country, the only games even being shown at the moment are those with convicts in them.

C7 is currently showing Mayer vs Djokovic.

Which of those is a convict?

I have no idea. Why bring English into this, surely you're more secure than that aren't you?

Obviously not.

Just asking a question.

I'm surprised at your sensitivity to it.

just trying to understand your insecurity.

In reality, it's tennis so I couldn'y give a cabernet. I'm sure the British guy will do Ok though, but I won't be supporting him.

No insecurity, just asking a question and was surprised about how sensitive you were to it.

I didn't ask British, I asked English btw.

Would this count as one of your questions not answered?

For all Hewitts faults the guy is a fighter and his name should never be linked with the cat Tomic.

Exactly, if the English cricket team as a whole had 1/10th of the heart that Hewitt has then they would have put up twice as much of a fight.

I can understand why Hawkesy doesn't recognise heart, he is English after all.....

Hewitt - heart

How many times did we here him get his excuses in early and claim to be injured before a tournament had even begun?

I would say not as many times as he has toughed out a 5 setter against his opponent. ... The guy has heart,
Unfortunately the same can't be said for Tomic.
