Just need to make sure the teams that make finals aren't impaired by players having to do international duty (if possible).

IMO this years ten game minor round format became stale in the last few rounds. with a 14 game season it will get even worse. Once teams are out of the running for the finals you could get some pretty meaningless games. Maybe promotion and relegation is the answer then

Can I suggest four points for a win?

This tri-series. Why is there a grand final (apart from $)? One team wins 4 from 4, the other two win 1 each and lose 3.
More laughable than top 6 finals in A-League.

because aussies don't seem to understand that the top of the league wins the league.

For them, it was probably the pay off the aussies to play games at home in their tournament.

Nice "six/catch" from the young lad in the crowd on Friday - $50k will come in handy.

Reckon I've played backyard cricket in bigger fields than Eden Park.

Have noticed aussies seems to put a lot of weight onto how big their grounds are and then have the boundaries 20 yds in.

Its all about sixes and fielders "safety" these days. When thin-ish edges go for six, then you have to admit there's a problem

The boundary at AO was 20 yds in during big bash. Player safety could have been 18 yds further back.

Only the other day I was thinking I remember when the boundaries were a fence.

They sure were and the only problem with that was players chasing down nearby would give it up a few metres out so they wouldn't crash into it. The one positive is good fielding/diving saves and even "clever" catches have been a feature since they had the rope instead.
The T-20 games with all the hoo-ha and fire-shooting gadgets, big speakers everywhere are making the boundaries shorter again, but that's cricket nowadays and why things such as bowling and batting averages in tests and ODI's need some perspective, especially when making comparisons to players of yesteryear.

So they should move the boundaries in 2m from the fence - not 20m.

Both teams in that series were ranked above you before the series. That's how rankings normally work.

So Liverpool should be top of the EPL then. We beat Man City who were above us.

A league table is different to a ranking system.
