That's ridiculous - youi can't change the rules mid season.
How is last year mid season?

How isn't it?

What year did the competition start in?
What year are we in now?

When did BBL 03 start?
You follow a team in a league that straddles two years. You obviously understand how the season break works.

yes the season break, but they don't change the rules/laws in the middle of that season.

This is so true. I've been watching the Thunder v Sixes game and still have no idea who represents where or who is the home team.

The clue is in the first part of their names.

The Big Bash seems to have turned into a reality show about a bunch of boring retired cricketers sitting around
in a commentary box with nothing meaningful to say while a game a of cricket goes on in the background.
Time for some righteous indignation

I don't know about most, but some certainly left early. Hopefully Perth can kick some arsé in tonight's semi.

To be fair, it should have been played at the home ground of the highest placed finalist (neutral venues are pointless in Australia, when Perth is so far away).

But with grounds required to be handed over for the World Cup already, there wasn't much options available.

It was a once-off for the WC year, so I can accept CA's reasoning behind it.

You speak sense although the neutral venue makes sense to me. this year it had to be Canberra as pitches elsewhere weren't available.

English finals are generally always played at Middlesex CCC's home ground. This year the MCG would have been perfect but with distances it would be empty so maybe you make a good point.

Pretty obvious highest placed finalist should host the final.

The table was a joke in itself. How can each teams play eight league games when there is eight teams. Playing some teams twice is the australian way by the looks of it.

Extra game added to exploit th big crowds for the Sydney and Melbourne derbies.

The BBL is a pure money making vehicle for CA.

No one has raised Hindmarsh but since you think neutral is best , Adelaide Oval would have been a perfect choice, as close to equal traveling time you can get.
