All Sheffield Shield matches are free entry. This isn't a special deal.

and with only 60% of stadium accessible to fans, its not even worth the free entry

But is it West End? I'd rather not have the beer, thanks.Bomber wrote:I bet you can buy a beer within 2 minutes or less.

Re: ADELAIDE OVAL FREE ENTRY TODAY
Free entry not available for soccer-football fans. They have ways of identifying you. To gain entry must contribute $100 minimum each to the total cost of the overall A.O. project of $729,858,000.
ps, GMAE - no criticism of drop-in pitches or West End beer allowed. Signed autographs of Five AAFL gurus S.Rowe & C. McDermott at the Cathedral End are free, except for those afore-mentioned soccer-football fans where the charge will be $15

Oh dear, channel 10
So in other words, it was between 1 - 7000, is that including the thousand of employees and workers currently working on the stadium?
Or what about the people who had a quick look during their lunch breaks???
But the BEST comment was this
how embaressing, even with free entry and they couldnt get more than a couple of thousand!
no doubt on saturday, provided the game hasnt finished, they will get a sell-out!
Mark Aiston "nearly 7000 people walked through the gates"

Given most people work, getting 7K on a Wednesday is pretty decent.bubu wrote:Oh dear, channel 10Mark Aiston "nearly 7000 people walked through the gates"

Sheffield Shield has been free for about 3 years now. Pretty much since Bupa took on the sponsorship.

As you have previously been told, state games are free all the time.
How long do you have to be through the gate for to be included in a stat of people who went through the game?
