Duh, I'm talking about the next mission, trying to regain no.1 test ranking (and I know we'd probably have to knock off India as well to get there)

Hot tip for GIAE - Just quietly bow out of these discussions to avoid further embarrassment, know when you are beaten and stop nit picking and wasting your life on an internet forum arguing and get out there and live a life.
It's knit picking :P

Anyone else think that we are still likely to get a pasting from the Saffers? I am still not convinced about our top order and think they were made to look ok only due to lack of bite from England. Cant rely on Haddin saving us all the time. Might be one of those series where the ball dominates, unless the pitches are roads.
100% Need new #3 & 6 that will step up and I would be much more confident.

Bailey dropped, Watson back to 6. Need a #3, and someone to slap Warner every second day.

The amount of Barossa Pearl that gets said about people playing their "natural games"... Warner succeeds when he doesn't. When he's not a cocky twat, puts away his extrovert shots and bats simply... he gets his eye in, gets the feel of the pitch and then easily scores quickly enough for a Test match.

The worst sight yesterday was Warner being happy, because we're all going to have to put up with him being a tool for a year until he gets slapped again. Maybe someone should keep Joe Root in Sydney, by the time South Africa comes around he'll have got his head in.

I think he meant the next ashes series.
I'm sorry do you have a point or is this just another attempt to take to thread off topic?

No I will just remind you of what I was told after our wins in 2005 and 2009. Win away from home and it matters until then, we've both a home series.

So you agreed with Aussie people then? Even then, finished 5-3. Then dissect each game and how far Australia is in front. That'll do me, plus the trophy in the cabinet. :D

How far you're in front? 5-3 is not that much really. You have played your pitches better, we played ours. SIMPLE!

Dissect each test. Yours were "close" wins, ours were thrashes. Makes the 5-3 look bigger.
Anyway, we are the 5 and you are the 3. We STILL win and are higher in the rankings. That's plenty and enough for me! :P

What about them? Uruguay uses your logic to claim they have won four world cups.

what about them? Well there's a difference between series between England and Australia and ashes series.

Someone look up whether this 32-31 scoreline represents just ashes series or all Australia v England series?
