Hookes was a very attacking player, just think if he'd learnt to duck a bouncer instead of trying to hook all of them.swannsong wrote:"It's just not cricket."

It makes you think that could have been the case.Red-4-Life wrote:In a lot of trouble now. India are going to destroy Australia in the 3rd test and the Ashes series is not looking to bright. If the changeroom is not happy, then I think this "cant be bothered" attitude will just grow among certain players and continue to kill the team.
As for Hussey, his retirement was very sudden. He had a lot left in him so I think there is more to his retirement.
It came out of the blue.
Then you have Lyon being given song master duties by Huss and now he gets dropped!

I guess your getting good coin to tour, and the professional thing to do is to do as asked.Neil Nhill wrote:Why did Kwaja get any homework. He wasnt involved with any of those debacle losses was he?
Its now known that there were other examples of lack of professionalism. But if players A,B,C, and D transgressed earlier on, but now did their homework, whilst Watson etc 's only crime was to not hand in the homework, then it does seem really harsh on them.
I suppose if you're going to do the wrong thing, do it first rather than last.
