$1.5 million
A joint major sponsor to be announced within the next couple weeks so between the 2 it would be a reasonable amount being received through major sponsors. Kochie and the rest of the behind the scenes team seem to be doing a lot of hard work to get this club back where it belongs
Watched Kochie on AFL 360 and thought he was good. Able to joke, get Robbo uncomfortable if he went hard at him but hammered home is own point. He does give Port a breath of fresh air.
Agree 100%. He had a laugh and also showed his passion for the club. I am confident in Kochie and KT to take the club forward off the field. On the field performances and winning will help 10x more.
Also glad to hear the tarps (except 2) will be banished!

kochie would have be the the first bloke ive seen to make Robbo speechless...anyway exciting times ahead at Alberton and happy we have some victorian influence in the coaches box and another major sponsor announced next week , was funny last night when Robbo said about he should live in adel, kochies response was gold
Now after Kochie has spoken up about lack of preseason TV coverage, Fox Footy are showing Power vs Swans TRIAL MATCH next weekend....wow!!! I think people have underestimated how powerful he is with the strings he can pull. It is at least exposure for PA in the east more than anything (as it is a home game so I assume people will go watch) but also for people who can't attend the 1pm saturday timeslot

Preeeeety sure it was scheduled prior to his statement.

Why isn't the game listed on Fox Footy then?
I don't know. But this is what I have heard from a few people
Good win against Sydney this afternoon. A confidence booster for the team more than anything and a good hit out for both sides. Promising signs that now need to be transferred into the premiership season
Nothing yet Andrew Jarman has said there's 2 companies in talks and it's coming down to which one will pay more, one being a energy company but what would he know. It's been 15 days since Kochie was on AFL360 and said there will be another sponsor announced in 10 days - 2 weeks, hoping for something to come up by the end of the week. Also got word the megastore will have guernsey's with both sponsors attached by round 2.
AFL season launch on Tuesday so nothing was ever gonna happen. Can't be far off now. Early next week before round 1 would be most likely to announce it
Good to see VIP again on board as joint major sponsor, a little disappointed and that's no disrespect to VIP, their money is the same as any other company but talks of another international company had us hoping, has obviously fallen through. They'll be back next year when we finally touch down at Adelaide Oval
Sounds like Adelaide Oval is a good selling point for potential sponsors and fair enough. VIP and Renault craps all over MyAtm and Aussie Atm as joint partners. Well done PAFC...now to get it right on the field

It's your own fault for believing the bulldust the media tells you.
Red Bull was a rumour started on BigFooty I heard.. and Rooch bought it hook, line and sinker.

No disrespect to Port but why would Red Bull even consider sponsoring them. Around the world, Red Bull are on the leading clubs. Their exposure would focus on Sydney and Melbourne so sponsoring Port at the moment with their low levels of coverage on FTA wouldn't make commercial or branding sense.
