It would have been annoying but it won't happen :D

Another great escape, 9 down. If only they (kiwis) had one decent bowler..........

Drawn match, drawn series.

Now would you prefer to lose 4-0 in india or draw in NZ?

didn't mean it like that.

i meant if any team lost in india 4-0 or drew a series in new zealand, then that team would be cabernet.

apologies for my appalling grasp of the english language.

Well looking at the ranking (thanks bubu), losing to a team above you, whilst not ideal, doesnt seem tooooooo bad, but drawing to a team who would most likely be relegated if there were another division isnt anything to cow about either. I guess we will just have to wait for the ashes.

So, would you rather lose 4-0 to india or draw 0-0 with nz?

You're as bad as redmum!

Completely fair comparison, india won every game of their series, every game was drawn in NZ.

would you rather lose 4-0 to india or draw 0-0 with nz?

Lose to India. No disgrace really over there. And if you knew how many kiwis I know and how many beers it may have cost me, they even celebrate draws like wins.

Draw (or lose) with Kiwi = costs me beer (I cut him slack with cricket as he cuts me slack with Rugby)
Lose to India = cost me nothing

What bit cant you grasp?

the fact that you'd rather your team lose than draw because it might cost you a carton in a non existant bet.

What Non-existant bet? We always bet Oz v Kiwi. A drawn series would have cost me - has before and will again (unless we win of course). Just like I won a carton of a Crows bloke this week (even though I havent got it yet) - its a bet regardless!

the series was non existant so the bet can't exist.

Either way, you're more concerned about a bet than your teams performance?

But you asked me whether I'd prefer a series loss to India as compared to a draw with NZ. Answered on that basis!

In some circumstances, yes, I'd rather win a bet then care about a cricket game.

Having said that, I'd never bet against Croydon for a carton.
