Australia v Sri Lanka

Post by Bomber »

About to start.

Wont underestimate the Sri Lankans, think their spinners might to well at the SCG especially.

That said, think we will win 2-0 or 2-1

We're batting yeah?

Will be interesting after what's been said about the pitch down there.

How anyone thinks Watson is a top order batsman is beyond me. Put him in at 6

I actually agree with that, despite Chappelli saying he should open. Could be handy at 6 facing the second new ball on occasions.

Bothan felt that 250 would have been a good first innings score on that wicket and we got to 330. India staging one hell of a recovery after being 89/4 to be 270/4

260 lead at lunch, 8 wickers in hand. Looks like a 400 lead, on or around tea sounds about right for a declaration.

Trott gets his hundred. I found this interesting (others probably won't), trott is around 200 runs short of being the highest test run score to not hit a 6

Surprised, but not disappointed. To what extent though, had it been sri lanka it would have been headline news. My guess is this will be a little article on page 82

I admit I'm shocked, what are they saying about. Siddle's banged to rights on this one, i wonder how the media/cricket australia will spin this one?
