No, its a genuine world sport. Your lot were shattered after the loss. Its played on a similar field to football, they use a hard ball and have wooden sticks (sound like cricket a bit?).God is an Englishman wrote:hockey

You're just narky cos YOU LOST!

I'm actually worried about you, you've dropped so low in other sports compared to us that you are relying on hockey. A non contact sport played by girls.

not with me, not in England, not in australia.
In fact 1 Billion Indians would answer cricket as well, so doubt it is worldwide either.

In actualy fact, hockey is the number one sport in India and Pakistan. I had to read it twice to believe it.God is an Englishman wrote:adam wrote:hockey more popular than cricket

So that's Football, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Hockey, Basketball that we have beaten England the last time we played them. Only cricket left so not far away from the clean sweep.

You may have won the last game but that doesn't mean necessarily you're better.
Football - Come on, you know this answer. Look at the rankings, look at where we come in tournaments compared to the cons.
Rugby - No lost a competetive match to you since 91. Won the world cup more recently, been in the final more recently, beat you in the last world cup.
Rugby League - dodgy game played by northerners
Hockey and basketball - not too many people in England give a shiraz about either of them.

Well if that wasnt the easiest catch of the day. People are funny. They buy things they don't need with money they don't have to impress people they don't like.

depends on how the girls are looking.
However, I was merely shocked that you hadn't mentioned a girls sport when you had previously.
