NORWOOD'S Luke Jericho has received a slap on the wrist by the SANFL tribunal for a Tweet attacking Eagles midfielder Chris Kane.
In an SANFL-first, Jericho was charged with ``acting in a manner detrimental to the image, spirit and best interests of the league'' after the league took exception to his Twitter account.
He fronted the tribunal tonight and was given a reprimand, but no fine and is free to play in Norwood's game against Glenelg on Friday night. He also does not incur any points towards his tribunal record.
Norwood football manager Mark Ross said Jericho pleaded guilty to the charge and the club understood the league's position.
The Tweet had been removed from Jericho's account this afternoon, but earlier this week it was reported that Jericho wrote: "Chris kane go play country footy you hack #dirty #hack''.
