Yes, if the referee deems your behaviour to be one of the following -

Cautionable offences

A player is cautioned and shown the yellow card if he commits any of the
following seven offences:
• unsporting behaviour
• dissent by word or action

Sending-off offences

A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the
following seven offences:
• serious foul play
• violent conduct
• spitting at an opponent or any other person
• using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures

unsporting behaviour is extreme grey area

where is the line with offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures?
if any kind of this gets you red, not a single player in any of the amatuer leagues in SA would avoid getting sent off at least 5 times a season

We had a player booked this week for swearing at his own player.

They did try to enforce a couple of years ago that if you swore and it was able to be heard by a spectartor you would be booked, that rule was f k d for goal keepers!

Dave Alberton gives you a warning for swearing in general, never seen him actually book some one for it but he manages to stop it.

it's grey for a reason, it's all emcompassing. This is a prime example of unsporting behaviour and a clear yellow card.

As for swearing, technically any fould language is a red card. However, most refs will accept it as part of football and allow it or at worse give a caution.
