CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT - 06/10/2016

Following Manny Kefalas’ decision to pursue a coaching role within the FFSA, the Adelaide Cobras Amateur FC embarked upon a process of identifying, interviewing and appointing a new head coach.

The Coaching Selection Panel considered a number of applicants who were all interviewed and provided with an opportunity to tell us why they thought they were best for the position. Following this process, the panel convened and a decision regarding our future direction was made.

It is with great pleasure that the Adelaide Cobras Amateur FC announce the appointment of Dave Baker as head coach of the club for the 2017 season and beyond.

Dave is highly regarded amongst the football community and has enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a coach. He has enjoyed success with many FFSA and SAASL clubs. The club believes Dave has the right credentials and track-record to lead our club as we embark on a new era.

We take this opportunity to welcome Dave to the Adelaide Cobras family and are excited about what the future will bring.

The club also wishes to thank Manny Kefalas for his work and commitment over the past two years and we wish him all the very best.

Further announcements regarding Reserves and C coaches will be made in due course, and details of a players “meet & greet” will be announced shortly.
