FFSA Under 12 STIC goalkeeping trials

Post by yoda »

Nomination forms for clubs to send in their STIC goalkeeping nominations for 2004 born goalkeepers will be sent out this week by the FFSA.

The trials will take place on Wednesday 2nd & 9th March at Elite systems football centre. 12 goalkeepers only will be selected to take part in the program which will begin training on Wednesday 16th March. We also encourage clubs to send along any 2005 born goalkeepers who standout at this stage.

More information will be available shortly on the FFSA website and the goalkeeping page. All clubs should encourage their best goalkeepers to attend these trials with a view to beginning on the elite pathway.

Only 15 nominations so far from 9 clubs!!

ABE, Ad city, Comets, Olympic, Plympton, Raiders, N.Demons, Seaford, Cumby..

Surely other clubs with plenty of Juniors have goalkeepers they should nominate for this.

This is a good opportunity for young talented goalkeepers to be identified in the football pathway

In the past few seasons we have sent many GK to the AIS for training camps with The national team coach. Some GK get selected for Nationals to to be viewed by National selectors and we have had goalkeepers at Australian team camps.

Please assist in getting Goalkeepers nominated to attend these trials.
