Fees can be cheaper without the affiliation and other costs associated with also running three Senior teams in the FFSA NPL.

And because they have no Senior teams Vipers juniors will play in the JSL competition. Not the JPL competition.

Good luck to them. If they are looking to eventually bring in their (currently SA Amateur League) Senior teams to the FFSA comp then that will be the complete player pathway the club is offerring from under 7s all the way through.

If they run 3 sides in the FFSA comp then fees couldn't stay as low as they are. Vipers have always
stood as a development club for their kids and do a pretty good job getting kids playing and learning the game.
Their juniors are growing which is a great thing for football in the western suburbs.

I'm amazed at the amount of clubs there are in the Western Suburbs:

Western Toros
Adelaide Olympic
West Adelaide
White City
Fulham
Western Strikers
Vipers
Henley Heat

Have I missed anyone??

Pirates......and a ton of smaller amateur (single teams) that seem to be around.

Also would you consider Adelaide Cobras as their main ground is near the old Brick Works in the West.

cheers

Interested to find out which junior club in the western suburbs is the least successful. I believe some clubs have only one a handful of game throughout their whole junior program all year. Maybe it is time to reduce the number of clubs.

I know of a proposal from a Southern Suburb to create a new club that was dismissed out of hand by FFSA. A lot of work behind the scenes from a group of local coaches to start from SSF and juniors. I notice Henley Heat were introduced last year to add yet another club to the West. The entire Southern Suburbs is covered by Cove, Sturt, Seaford, Noarlunga and South Adelaide, that's a big area for such a small amount of clubs.

I am all for protecting existing clubs but lets at least hear people out if they have ideas
