One of our players went to see this Chinese bloke that tears the hamstring off the bone to repair it. The player was back fit in 2 weeks and played a huge part in our League and Cup championships and has been fine every since. It was very painful but to be fit in 2 weeks it was a good turn around for a player who was battling the injury all year. Apparently this bloke is quite well known in Australia, once I find the details I will post.

I've found that most hammy probs are due to an issue with your back. Have personally found Accupuncture worked well for me in the past

Tore the hamstring off the bone and was back and fit in 2 weeks. Are you serious?? I pulled my hamstring a year ago and was out for 3 weeks before I started runnning properly again!

Check that you don't keep your wallet in your back pocket and sit on it when you are seated (honestly) can lead to back issues and hamstring problems.

+1 for back problems
+2 for accupunture
ive posted about this before

a couple of seasons ago, i tore ( well thats assuming ) my hamstring 3 times on one and twice on the other
visited half a dozen different physios
they could understand why i was getting that intense tearing like pain at the bottom of the muscle near the knee and never any bruising

last physio i saw finallt worked it out... back problem
and the nerves causing the issue and tranferring the pain lower down the hamstring
the muscles themselves were very flexible , albeit a little weak .
told me how to manage it myself

was back playing in 6 weeks
if your not having success with your physio, get a second or third opinion

Yes true story. Well known specialist and the player was playing again in 2 weeks. Suprised us all. The specialist has a good track record. Hurt like hell apparently. D'Aloisio was back in no time so it worked.

Go see Diego Pellegrini out at Klemzig - he'll sort you out no problem at all. He's been treating me for the last couple of years and I've noticed a huge improvement (I previously had a fair few hamstring issues as well).

Hardest bit is probably getting an appointment as he's in high demand with all the local players!

Tore my hamstring last year and he got me back very quickly! He has fixed my groins, achilles and hammy all in a very quick time! I strongly recommend him...when he comes back from Italy give him a call
