It’s made by the twits who did downton abbey, the missus saw the trailer and reckons its one of those “good shows we should watch together”. So I’m not hopeful.

I mentioned it in another thread. I thought it was good. The OM and Orackle were only young in it. The actors did not look like sporting types but I suppose that's how it was then working in the mines.

having watched it, i think it did a magnificent job highlighting the fact that we should be more grateful to the Scottish than the English for the modern game....

Were the Scotties there to show they actually introduced skills into the game rather than the kick and run English game.

It seems that the 'English' game hasnt changed much and the Scots have gone backwards...

Yes, exactly what the program is about.
West Adelaide Soccer Club president Alex Alexandrou said the club was still in a position to be playing and training at the new ground either by the end of the 2015 season or in 2016.
