Comparing freedom marches with football at olympics wow
Showing what humans choose is not always a correct decision.

What's the issue?

Or do you know for certain not one on the freedom march is a football fan?

As for for last question, to quote Pauleen Hansen " please explain?"
lol talk about a pot and kettle moment for victor , he is a very confused one maybe a result of staying locked inside for too long
Thanks Dave at least i'm not the only one he confused ;-) ;-)

lol your posts of late suggest otherwise but for the sake of your mental health it might be time to have a nice rest. you can then try and work out why it is when the majority are with you its ok but when they arent then suddenly everyone else has lost the plot.

womens match big test for both Matildas and USA teams tonight
USA team looked all over the shop against NZ , two of their goals were own goals from NZ , the USA looked a bit of a rabble.
Matildas have not played to their full potential yet their second half fade outs are a worry - seems the team is playing well, then the coach makes changes and the system breaks down, we have been outscored in both games in the second half ?
For the USA team this is a very defining moment for them, could make or break not only for the the team, but the sport in their country given all the legal and political battles they have had.
If they leave all that behind them against the Matildas, will make for a thrilling contest I predict 4-3 loss( our defence not quite sorted ) . Not the first time USA have lost their first match then gone on to win Gold.
Doesnt really matter both these teams will go through unless there is a major upset in the other group

The Olyroos who knows what they will dish up we played two very different styles , we attacked we won, we defended we lost, ( how did the smallest player on the park win a contested header for the goal ? )
We have the players but our lack of discipline worries me, so many unnecessary free kicks / yellow cards.
Who is the player runs down the left wing keeps falling over /diving ? good player if he stays on his feet, he looked surprised to be subbed the other night.
How would you predict this one , what Olyroos team is going to come out to play ? I hope we take the game on and go for it. Predict 2-1 win .
They are my guesses, what does everyone else think ?

Watched the Spain game. Spanish were on another planet tbh, if they can adapt to playing with a full forward they would be unstoppable. That Harry Souttar looks a typical no nonsense British style defender.

Olyroos to win 2-1 and Matildas lose 1-2

Clearly the Australian public love Olympic football with a combined 1.6m watching the opening matches.

I think I heard that the Matilde's could make it to the next round even if they loose but i am hoping for a draw.

Hoping the Olyroos to win 2:1. I watched the Egypt side against the Argentine and they are quiet good. A draw could do it.

Big challenge for the Matildas @ 5.30pm today, 27 July versus USA on one of Ch7’s digital channels.

USA Women 4 times World Cup winners and 4 times Olympic Gold medallists. No walk in the park for the Matildas.

If, as expected Australian women go down, then fingers crossed Netherlands 🇳🇱 beats China 🇨🇳 in their 8.30pm game and Australia squeezes in as one of the better-placed 3rd in a preliminary Group and thus through to a Quarter-Final where anything can happen.

Matildas through to the Quarter-Finals!

Australia playing mother country Great Britain Friday 30 July @ 6.30pm prime time in what should be a good “derby”.

Great Britain squad has 1 Welsh woman & 2 Scots but no Northern Ireland woman with rest all English.

Really disappointed to be honest, in my opinion Arnie needs to shoulder the responsibility here, way too negative for mind, against Spain we were basically playing for a 0-0 draw and it looked the same against Egypt, why not start with a more attacking team and get that early goal, as soon as Arzani came on at half time we looked some much better and dangerous, a real missed opportunity here

With you there. It was a tough group. Arzani certainly has some skill. Pity he had career stalling injuries. The loss of our 3 top players to suspension did not help.
NZ got through in what i consider a much easier group. Good on them I hope they do well and continue on.

Arnold was going to "shock the world".

I was not shocked, but seeing, as grosso puts it, a Mickey Mouse tournament, why the big deal then?
