Unfortunately not enough time to really cement a new philosophy (assuming he wants to move away from the way Ange played).

A guy who studied and picked apart the Socceroos to qualify for the 2018 World Cup...I'd dare say there's no-one better (other than the Japan coach who had a superior side to what Van Marwijk did) to take over and hit the ground running.

He knows our strengths and weaknesses. Solid appointment.

Have to agree Bomber real issues all over the park. I hope we go back to a back four , we just don't natural wing backs in the squad.

Surprised Brandon Borello did not get a look in the Socceroos over Jamie McLaren who has achieved nothing since landing in Europe.

Borello is a better bet than Petratos and Nabbout in my opinion. Would have thought scoring in Bundesliga 2 would rank higher than ALeague players.

If Borello continues his form then he will be selected for the WC squad over McLaren

So if he takes Australia to 1/4 finals, then removed for Arnold great plan. LOL.
