Australia v Thailand

Post by Bomber »

Hope we win, never mind the margin. Don't feel confident for some reason, but hopefully the Melbourne crowd can lift the players just enough to get the job done.

I would think we would be a better chance this time around.

the pitch will be in a better condition than what was faced in Thailand and we were on a hiding to nothing playing them just after their monarch had passed away.

Do you think the shockeroos would play better if the queen died?

I don't know, would you post more coherently if Caitlyn Jenner died?

Much better game to watch - if we scored earlier in the game I think we would have won by heaps.

It was noticeable to me how little Tim touched the ball considering we had so much possession and played mostly in their half.

Milligan for me isn't the answer as a defensive midfielder.

Mooy was fantastic considering he has been sick and lost 3 kgs in the last week due to his sickness.

Now we hope that Japan can not lose tomorrow morning.

I think it time for Lowy and friends to bribe FIFA and receive automatic qualification Into World Cup via Oceania group. Obviously without playoffs to South American 5th stop.
At least there, they might have a chance beating Solomon island and kangaroo island squads.

At least we've got four matches (or two if we fail against Syria) to recover and regroup, before the World Cup Finals.

This should give us the chance to find out our best starting eleven at last before we get embarrassed on the big stage, a blessing in disguise really.

I've been an Australian Citizen since Australia day 1977.

You're having a laugh aren't you. Lets not qualify directly as we need to sort out our best eleven - comedy gold

So you're an australian citizen, not an australian.

I don't prescribe to that theory either.

Real worry is that stubborn Ange will persist with new formation, and we will miss out on Russia.
