Because there are 20,000 soccer fans and 400,000 sports fans?

Also the pissant mentality will ensure the under 10's need to train that night
What night is it on? Pretty sure either I will be or my son will be training that night.
Exactly

Will be nice to see a full stadium , show SA just what a world sport with real World cup Qualifiers is all about.

50k would be nice :)

Would be nice but your dreaming far to many small minded people who think their own training is sooooooooooo important

Considering you were suggesting they sold 20,000 tickets by December 12th, an extra 1,000 in 3 months is pathetic

It will be the last Socceroos game here for quite sometime, personally I'm quite glad

1) Confirms us as a total Pi$$ant state
2) Adelaide Oval is horrible for watching football
3) The under 8's who are getting fleeced $850 per year to supplement the wages of their Federation senior team coaches don't need to justify not cancelling training so their future superstars don't miss a second of their self righteous training sessions
4) Away trips are far more fun

So they sold 7k tickets in two days?

Still find it funny that ticket sales for an international match relies on fan days and people buying at the last minutes.

What day is it on?

You or your son will be at training

Why do you think it's funny? They often don't sell out Wembley for England matches and it's your number one sport

And games are regularly at Wembley, not a one off.

Who's "we"?

My dilemma - great night to be at pub, my dad's 91st birthday or possible corporate box at Adelaide Oval for the game.

Seems an odd day to do it (not so if long weekend didn't immediately follow). Anyway, enjoy your game whilst I work out which activity I'll do that night.

That's excellent plus walk ups should get to 40 plus.

Also apparently free public transport with ticket.

FFS Matt McKay has been picked, the answer to the question not worth asking at International level.

Surely there are any number of players more deserving for this high short wearing exponent of kick and chase.

Ange's favourite along with Fanjic.... has Oar been picked too?

I think 40k would be a good crowd, not exactly stellar opposition, training night, people going away for long weekend etc etc.
