Socceroos to play Greece

The Socceroos will play Greece in June next year in both Sydney and Melbourne.

I think this is one element of the Socceroos calendar that is lacking ATM. More friendlies that will get big crowds would be great. One or two a year would be excellent I would much rather see the FFA try and lure sides like Germany or Brazil over getting clubs to play the HAL All stars ever again. I'd imagine the investment would in the similar ballpark figure but there would be the added benefit of actually providing the national team world class opposition to work with.

Obviously Greece aren't as good as the counties I mentioned but I'd be expecting a huge crowd in Melbourne especially.
