On another point did we play Greek Macedonians or Slav Macedonians?
Flat & awful performance in this terrible bore-draw against FYROM (FORMER YUGOSLAV REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA).

So disappointing after the exciting 2-2 away in Germany. Ange was experimenting in this one, but he's got to find more flexible ways to break down opponents like FYROM who defended in depth in the first half.
Yeah very defensive display from Macedonia. IMO the Socceroos of old would have fallen for this and got beaten by a sucker punch counter attack so fair play that they held their shape.
Once again a bit unlucky in front of goal Juric and Leckie could have easily scored.
IMO we really should have come away from both matches with the win which is disappointing but looking at it positively coming away from playing Germany and Macedonia and being disappointed with draws shows that we are certainly moving forward.

Great to see Elrich and Oikonomidis getting game time.
