No, the same as you don't win a trophy for winning a few games as a caretaker (Unless you're roberto di matteo)

Would venables not have won the confederation qualifying in order to play iran?
No one considers that an achievement. Its an expectation.
Hawkesy's English, it's considered an achievement when he ties his own shoe laces in the morning.
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. That's why I succeed." -Michael Jordan

I assume it's happened every time then?

So people want to count a couple of games but not winning a qualification tournament

How about the FA cup, la liga champions, Spanish cup,

It takes an IQ of 60 to tie your shoelaces which explains why so many aussies wear flip flops.

Yes those things deserve infinitely more respect then beating New Zealand and Tonga.

A few FA Cups, semi finals of the European Championships.

League cup, FA cup, league with Spurs??
I reckon that list would sit pretty well alongside the other options, does it?

So you've graduated to become a silly convict. Makes sense given where you're from and where you are now, so congratulations! :P

To be a convict you would have to be caught committing a criminal offence.

Good interview with Ange in Greek on Sport24.gr

http://www.sport24.gr/interviews/postek ... 87963.html

Seems like he's already thinking about his net job after the Socceroos:

Εάν είχες πρόταση στο μέλλον από την Ελλάδα, είτε σύλλογο είτε εθνική ομάδα, θα επέστρεφες;

As well as his achievements with South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar & Australia, I like how Ange is looking up at the camera these days.

Dunno if it was shyness in the past or he was buying thinking time, but good to see he now faces the camera and/or the interviewer with proper eye contact.

He did a lot of media work when he was in the coaching wilderness, which has no doubt helped with his confidence in this regard.
