Troisi's dad is Greek also. His parents separated when he was young. His step dad is Alby Troisi.
Re: Australia Champions of Asia
Unlike many who were born here and grew up here, it appears they all consider themselves to be Australian!
Are you Bodo in disguise?

Re: Australia Champions of Asia
How can you be champions of Asia when you're not part of asia?
Maybe you could play as part of Antartica next time.
Not a bad game though, I watched the last 20 mins and extra time. S Korea dominant in that last 20 and well deserved the equaliser but it seemed instead of continuing their advantage they tried to be more cautious in extra time.
So much diving though, even the bloke who did really well to set up the winner fell over twice looking for the free kick before his great work.
As for their nationalities, we'll all of them are something else as well as Australian.

Juric was virtually sat on by two defenders and you call it a dive? As you said, he kept going and set up the winner.God is an Englishman wrote:How can you be champions of Asia when you're not part of asia?

Trophy says champions of Asia, you'll just have to deal with it, just as if we played a finals tournament anywhere else. If you BEAT them, you're the champion of THEM!

The first one was possibly a foul, the second clearly wasn't. Australia getting a reputationBomber wrote:Juric was virtually sat on by two defenders and you call it a dive? What if the entire squad was English?
I'm not playing anymore and I'm taking my ball and going home.

Maybe people just stop responding to/quoting the troll? He has clearly stated he hates everything about the country and its sporting teams so of course watches and comments over and over in topics regarding them.

He just loves it that so many Aussies bite and get worked up, that he simply keeps throwing the line in and reeling them in

Yeah thats what I said, he's a troll. Of course they do, I'd get the same response if I joined an English county football forum and slagged off their local football and country.Socca wrote:DisagreeBPBC wrote:Maybe people just stop responding to/quoting the troll? Still don't know who you're talking about but pretty sure an English forum would also agree that australia are not in Asia

Re: Australia Champions of Asia
Did you beat every nation when you won the World Cup in 1966? My bet is that you didn't, therefore a moot point. Can only play within the rules of the tournament, ie play and beat who you're up against, but even you know that.God is an Englishman wrote:

Re: Australia Champions of Asia
You don't need to beat every nation. We won the tournament in the rules as you said. However, every team in the world had the opportunity to play in that tournament. Not every country in Asia had that opportunity. Also, Australia is not in Asia.Bomber wrote:Did you beat every nation when you won the World Cup in 1966?
