Happy to see a few names from abroad there, Burgess, Edwards, Gallifouco, Ugarkovic and Williams are exciting talents. Nice to see Amini get another go too.

A superb headed goal from Dutch-based Travis Cooper wasn’t enough as the Olyroos went down 3-1 to China PR on Sunday night in the Aussies' second match in Wuhan.

The opening line-up for Australia against China PR: Aaron Lennox, Mustfa Amini, Cameron Burgess, Travis Cooper, Andrew Hoole, Jamie Maclaren, Stefan Mauk, Steven Ugarkovic, Giancarlo Gallifuoco, Riley Woodcock, Shane D’Cunha.
Thats quite a different line up that shared the points with Brazil days earlier.

As disappointing the result is its great to see a number of our foreign contingent getting game time for the country.

The Olyroos have ended their China tour on a high after beating Korea Republic 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Perth Glory’s Jamie Maclaren on Tuesday night in Wuhan.

Nice way to cap off the tournament but sadly I read the Corey Gameiro has done an ACL in the game.

Just read people on FB enjoying the fact Gameiro has done his ACL. Say what you like about the kid on the park. But no one deserves to do an ACL. He was representing OUR country doing it. The guy is 21 and is a real hope for the future. Its disgusting to read people enjoying his injury.

It's pretty crap if that's the case.

I think that Gameiro is a bit like Jamieson in that his intensity and will to win gets under some people's skin. I like him as a player and would much rather have him than some of the tripe we have playing up front at the moment.
