A lot of the Palace players speak very highly of him and rate him big time as a capt.
Think we need to wait and see who steps up during WC 2014. Neill will be gone after that as will most of the older lads. Could use Bresciano for the Asian Cup and have the long term successor as his VC during that time to learn.
Probably will end up being Jedinak or Milligan

I think Jedinak is the best long term option, as he plays in a midfield role and is a better position to get his points across to every player on the field more efficiently than someone up the front.
Plus Cahill is only going to used as a bench player, which is his best option for making an impact these days.
