so all good, they are actually pumping up the game.

im sure it will be in good nick for football on tuesday.
Tried booking tickets this morning (yes, last minute on a whim decision!)... Can't get 3 seats together except in Section A ($90 per person, no discount for child ticket), which was still in the top tier, row 11....

Try again, found 3 together with a kids ticket Category B , about $145 all up!
Funny that, when I went back yesterday afternoon, all of the 'allocation exhausted' signs were taken down...

As for your point about watching the game together on a local sponsor pub's 6.30pm Fox telecast, I agree.

remind me again why I have a moral obligation to skip something I want to do in favour of something I don't want to.

MY country is not playing, so again I don't understand your point on that matter either.

Assuming you mean 'old enough to leave behind' then I'm sure they're counting the days just like us.

I was referring to those forumites of British & European heritage who have homes here, have jobs here, who study here and who DO wish their country of residence well, regardless of their first allegiance. I know many of them, I've seen them in games in Melbourne & Sydney and was impressed with their passion for Australia to do well.
