Hate to disapoint some people, but Craig Johnston is Australian. Both his parents were born in Australia, as were three of his four grandparents. His parents happened to be on holiday in South Africa when he was born.

Check out his autobiography "Walk Alone" if you have any doubts :)

He chose not to play for Australia... that doesn't mean he isn't "Australian".

according to many australians in relation to the English cricket team, only place of birth matters.

Personally, if his parents were born here then he's a convict. Where was the 4th grand parent from?

Still didn't play for australia so you can't compare him with cahill as your best ever player.

His fourth grandparent was Scottish... which makes him playing for England U21 even more weird..! :lol:

how old was he when moved to australia? I want to know how long a holiday he had.
