Great move by Real. Ancelotti is one of the best managers about. Not a raver and ranter either. I was disappointed when he got the flick at Chelsea. Win the title one year, finished second then outski. Trophies at Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern.

If rumours are true another smart bit of business by Arteta, with the departure of a player - well over due!

You don't work with Levy, you work for Levy.

Mind you, I'd rather wait than have Arteta.

It will be interesting to see how the Fat Waiter gets on at Goodison, I'm not sure it will be a universally popular appointment

He is a decent manager though and it would be funny if they beat the other scousers.

I don't mind commenting. Let's put it this way, I hated Mourinho but I'm fine with Nuno

Jury's out on Nuno for me as I've only ever known him managing Wolves who, with the greatest respect, were always going to be mid table at best having just come up. I think he's more attack minded and happy to see how it pans out now he's got a better squad to deal with. Might even pick up a cheap Neves or two.

It's preseason, happens all over the world results like that...

On a side note, finally got our hands on a good English defender, we haven't done that since the signing of Sol

 So now Kroenke is your favourite?

I reckon Ben White will be a big help, he's proven in the PL, but the others are youngsters from poor European leagues, the jury will be out on them for a while.

Nuno says we have such great players already, he doesn't need to panic and buy every unknown like Arsenal ;-)

Or, are you referring to the fairytale in the currant bun?

Has the EPL gone mad with transfer fees. Some players quoted over £100m pound. Talking Haaland over £150m pound. :ugeek:
