04.08. 04:30 Reading v Derby
04.08. 23:30 Birmingham v Norwich
04.08. 23:30 Brentford v Rotherham
04.08. 23:30 Bristol City v Nottingham
04.08. 23:30 Ipswich v Blackburn
04.08. 23:30 Millwall v Middlesbrough - A tough one for Millwall
04.08. 23:30 Preston v QPR
04.08. 23:30 West Brom v Bolton
04.08. 23:30 Wigan v Sheffield Wed
05.08. 02:00 Sheffield Utd v Swansea
06.08. 01:00 Leeds v Stoke - Stoke have spent 30 million on their forward line and Leeds have got Bamford in the last week from Middlesbrough (centre forward) in the last week - first home game for Leeds for the season so I'm sure Elland Road will pumping
07.08. 04:15 Hull City v Aston Villa

Will be interesting to see how this year pans out but I would expect another tough battle each week for clubs in the championship.

7 minutes bottle of shiraz injury time. Kevin Friend has no friends in Bermondsey.

Leeds had a great start with a 3-1 home win against Stoke but after last year lets be careful not to get to excited just yet.

Nice touch before the game for Paul Madely.

All the other results looked close so Im expecting a very even/tough Championship this year.

Now that the summer transfer market has closed here are the big $ movers in the Championship

Total Income V expenditure on players

Swansea + $45 million pounds
Middlesbrough + $34 million pounds
Norwich + $34 million pounds
Bristol City + $18 million pounds
Villa + $10 million pounds
(most of these I think have spent big dollars in prior years so I think they have looked to offset them costs)

Forrest - $27 million pounds (interesting push by Forrest, it will be interesting to see how they go)
Stoke - $15 million pounds (trying to get straight back up it would seem)

Millwall - $0

Take Swansea as an example. If we matched our highest ever transfer fee paid, we could buy 56 new players.

Overall income $0 but it did say you purchased 1 player for $1 million pounds - Jiri Shalak (Czech born) a left winger from Brighton - they must have rattle the money boxes hard over the summer. :)

Ahhh Yes, we did buy him but it was an Undisclosed Amount, I've been told 400k (pounds) which is still well under the million and even also under our record fee paid.

You three just can't accept that they only kicked back when kicked by a player on your team.

Your teams have always had reputations for dirty play as well, only yours are still doing it, Leeds have moved on,

Here you go, during Clough's first meeting with the players in his short tenure at Leeds, he told them "Go home and put all your medals in the bin, 'cos you got them by cheating!" He was right.
Revie was a disgrace at Leeds he was the perpetrator of a criminal fall in sporting standards with his managerial tactics of violence, diving, feigning injury and off-the-ball antics; a bad joke as the England manager; and finally a con-man in his dealings in the Middle East.

And let's not forget bribes, didn't Revie offer Bob Stokoe, then manager of Bury money to 'go easy' in a match when Leeds were facing relegation. Stokoe refused and never forgave Revie, making the '73 cup final win all that much sweeter for Stokoe.

Which team were you refererring to with yourself?

Who does Jonny Lidon support?

We're no longer unbeaten. I think that may be only our 3rd loss in 2018.

I have a good mate who is one as it goes. I think there's one who claims to be one on here but he's blocked me. Either way, he supports so many teams - one of them was bound to win at some point.

I watched the Swansea V Leeds game last night 2-2 quite a good standard game to watch.

Interesting that Leeds played with smaller centre backs (and a couple of younger players) not sure if that is by design to help play out from the back or it was forced upon them due to player availability.

Top 2 teams this week end Leeds V Middlesbrough - Elland Road will be packed to the rafters and rocking (oh and Celtic V Rangers but that's over the boarder - Rangers have improved but Im not sure they have improved enough to beat Celtic away)

The worst possible news for Leeds supporters - Bielsa voted 'Coach of the Month' by the EFL - that's definitely put the mockers on our chances of winning against Millwall next week.

Probably because our foreign players are not used to being kicked so often.

Unfortunately, we have 7 foreign players our side as well.

Couldn't they just watch videos of Leeds in the 70's to see how it's done?

We, unlike Millwall, have moved on since those days.

Also, 'We are Leeds' supporters are so proud to be part of our club and consider the club as a part of our family and that it belongs to us.

You are obviously not so proud of Millwall and therefore don't consider yourself as part of the club.
