Real Madrid v Liverpool
Thoughts? Hopefully old master's friend has a set top box so he can watch this.

i would be shocked if LFC win in Extra Timeozzie owl wrote:That wouldn't be hard.Mr Red wrote:Hopefully a better game than the English FA cup.
Liverpool 4-3 in extra time.
Our bench and squad isn't really strong enough.

3-2 Real Madrid (after Extra Time) though hoping that it is the other way around. Don't mind an English side winning it if they are deserving of it, especially as they have a Scot in the side. Come on Liverpool!

Unlucky to lose Salah so early, but the best team on the night won. Hard to win with a dodgy keeper.
Perhaps they missed Coutinho?

I hope channel ten award their play of the day to Karius.
Why is half a day at home more tiring than a week at work?

Re: Real Madrid v Liverpool
What a strange but enthralling game. Cracking start but Salah's injury struck a chord and Liverpool couldn't keep it up. Bale - farrk me, what a goal.
Karius, well, lets just say if Klopp doesn't buy a new keeper NOW, then he will have to put up with second best for a while yet. That (both howlers) was just beyond comical in such a big game

True, but I guess we have no idea how any spurs players would play in a final :wink:Nice One Cyril wrote:Probably better than Mignolet and Karius.Allez Allez Allez wrote:can he play in goal?Nice One Cyril wrote:Unlucky to lose Salah so early, but the best team on the night won. Maybe not this season, but we were better than Real Madrid in the group games.
However, you have to admit where Liverpool are, they've got a fine forward line and I think they've found a couple of decent young defenders, but a poor keeper and a weakish midfield often lets them down.
The need a player like Coutinho

Sergio Ramos should have got a card in 2 incidents, first the judo throw on Salah, then elbowing Karius in the face .Maybe it wasn't corruption it was just the concussion at play.

One howler you can console but two...MegaBonus wrote:.the Liverpool players, substitutes and coaching staff not consoling him after the game was disgraceful....they left it the the Real players....

Yes ultimately cost them the game, but also saved them a number of times.MegaBonus wrote:"You'll never walk alone"......unless you're the Liverpool goalkeeper....no one intends to S H I R A Z up on the pitch....the Liverpool players, substitutes and coaching staff not consoling him after the game was disgraceful....they left it the the Real players....
Let's hope he can recover mentally from this and get the necessary support.
Would Liverpool have won without his howlers? Probably not.

Just seen a picture of the Liverpool team arriving back at the airport. The comment underneath says "At least Karius managed to catch the plane".
Cruel, but accurate.

The other major difference was the quality on the bench at Real Madrid compared wth Liverpool.Nice One Cyril wrote:Probably better than Mignolet and Karius.Allez Allez Allez wrote:can he play in goal?Nice One Cyril wrote:Unlucky to lose Salah so early, but the best team on the night won.
