Terrible. At least our young Croydon lads show heart. How Polska are (were) ranked 6th in the world is mind boggling on recent showing.

Back to the drawing board for next Euro qualifiers.

best thing about the England game was Martin Tyler....

seriously.....Kane getting the penalty awarded due to grappling was good for the game....however, only due to Pom whinging...lets see a ref have the balls to award one against a 'big' team and not just make an example of Panama....

you can never begrudge a team winning by that margin but surely England fans would be worried with the way England defended.

There does seem to be some inconsistency on the grappling issue.

Panama got away with a lot against Belgium.

So it's whingeing to point out a team cheating like that

The only whinging I have seen is by the Aussies. Foster was going on and on about the France penalty 3-4 days after. He suddenly shut his big mouth when they were awarded the softest of penalties against Denmark.

Plenty of whingeing by the Egyptian, Tunisian & Serbian commentators apparently, but truth be told, I can't understand them.

At least do me the satisfaction of winning your last group match.

Englishman asked me what needs to be addressed previously-referees refusing to check monitors when VAR recommends a look.

Another thing that is not on is a German ref for a Swiss game. How would England feel if they played Russia and the ref was Belorussian ,taking the piss out of the English team all game long.

The referee is in charge of the game, not a tv operator.

What a joke VAR is. Ronaldo should been off for the 2nd time in this tournament and that was never a penalty to iran.

What about Piquet in the other game? A two footed lunge and he didn't even give away a foul!

Please, no more VAR, it's ruining the game in its current form.

FIFA used to boast about how our game was so uniform across the board, regardless of league/status etc. VAR tosses that theory out the window.
Yes, it rights some wrongs, but its use is inconsistent, so why bother, as human element is still at play.
Ditch it.

PS - Polska/Colombia - so far the best looking women (combined) in the crowd in any match

The non red card for Ronaldo just shows that with or without VAR it is up to the ref to follow directions as given to him by the higher powers above him.As US president Kennedy said, there are secret societies behind events!

This years champions league just confirms that refs followed directives from above,Juventus & Roma ended up screwed by the system.

Referee Felix Brych (German) officiated the semi final between Real vs Roma, the same ref that screwed Serbia in the game against Switzerland. An investigative reporter found out that as of recently his bank account is larger by 2 million euros.

Mega has got his wish. We've reverted back to the slow predictable passing laden build up. It's just like Ange is coaching again.

Players aren't running with the ball, running at players, attacking aggressively.

Get those pass stats up. Well trained average robots.

They need to reduce the amount of teams qualifying from the Asian region. Only Japan look set to make it into the last 16. The quality of Asian football is garbage.
