You can't ecpect them to win the final without meeting some tough opposition.
You can lead a horse to water but they are bloody hard to drown.

GTC and SV still celebrating at the Croatian club?

Nice win and wonder if Messi will quit the Argie national team again if they fail to get to next round.

Not neccesarily. The Falklands war runners up and Croatia could both win their final games leaving West Norway and those runners up level on points.

Today i have recovered from my hangover after Croatia's win over the Argentine's.Can somebody explain to me the German refs decision not to award Serbia's Aleksandar Mitrovic a penalty after being mauled by not one ,but two players in the box. This has to be addressed because it will happen in other games as well.Neymar got the living crap beaten out of him by Swiss player Valon Behrami-why was he allowed to carry on as a rugby player in a second game in a row?

It used to be part of the 'dark arts' of a defender that you could grab a shirt, hold the player a little just enough to put him off balance and then let go before you got penalised. Because they allowed players to get away with that, it's gradually got worse and worse and now you are permitted to do the full WWE takedown on a forward without a penalty.

Surely FIFA or the refs panel or whomever is in charge must see that and order the refs and VAR to start penalising it?

The same thing happened in the Sweden-Germany match.VAR system asked for ref to have a look at penalty situation, which was refused by him. This must be addressed before the knock out rounds are held.

Of course, VAR clearly in place to insure Fifa gets the teams it wants into the later stages of the competition

Had to turn the commentary off, Tyler such a twat

1 official ref, 1 linesman, and 6+ VAR's sitting in the box, viewing 15+ angles miss 2 players in offside potitions and a handball in the penalty box, results in a penalty being awarded to England, turning into a joke of a world cup
