He comes on a free transfer - Im not so sure he will be on high dollars up front but he may have a few incentive clauses.
IMO - This is seen as a short term fix to help both club and player.
It will be very interesting to see how he goes.
Even at 38 will probably be best player at the club and should get plenty of game time.

Re: Cahill to Millwall
Yes I looked at their 2017/18 player transfer expenditure and player transfer income and it was a big fat ZERO on both counts. (the only club in the championship to do so)God is an Englishman wrote:Brian the Postman wrote:Obviously Millwall have a huge amount of Vi$$$ion in the bank to satisfy him.
Millwall having money
Only frees and loan players as ins.
They are doing really well considering they haven't spent 1 pound on any player this season. Good management seeing how they are going if you ask me. Especially when you compare it to some of the other big spending clubs. (including Leeds )

It's still so weird hearing Millwall being mentioned on the news over here. Just watched an interview with Bomber on the ABC.

I was lying in bed. I do like what Bomber has done as the Millwall manager but he wasn't with me there.Slinky_Pete wrote:Where were you & Bomber watching said interview?God is an Englishman wrote:It's still so weird hearing Millwall being mentioned on the news over here. Don't forget Everton, though NT could be excused for doing so, and the good old US of A.
The older I get the better I was.

Seeing as he came through our youth team, I’d say it’s our youth policy.eagleboy wrote:Is the championship the retirement league or is it Millwall's youth policy that brought Tim back?
