Yep not stuffing around with the ball in your final third - Good defending - players body shape, positioning, communication. second defenders, second efforts, not ball watching, marking players and space properly, working with-in a defensive unit, defending corners and free kicks and then there is the GK and his involvement with all this and defending your goal - I do wonder at times if good defending is becoming a dying art some times.
Look at Messi's third goal, a great finish, but I find it hard to believe that an international defender is showing Messi onto his left. Have they never seen him play before?

Chile and Paraguay miss out and Argentina and Columbia make it and Peru play NZ

Paraguay had to beat the bottom team at home in their last game they didn't so they are out. I bet that will be an interesting game to watch.

And if Peru beat Columbia then Peru would have been through and Columbia would have been playing NZ
