MILLWALL have signed Australian centre-forward
MILLWALL have signed Australian centre-forward Kristian Brymora.
The 18-year-old left Australia in July and has been on trial at a number of clubs this summer including Watford but impressed Millwall’s academy bosses and will link up initially with Kevin Nugent’s (above) under-23s.
Brymora played in a game between the Lions’ under-18 and under-23 sides and scored a hat-trick and provided an assist.
He has played senior football in the A-League – Australia’s professional league – for Newcastle Jets, the former club of the likes of England strikers Emile Heskey and Francis Jeffers.
Brymora should feature in the Professional Development League this season and will also train with Neil Harris’ first team.

That's why he couldn't get a game here - Millwall were desperate to improve their youth team with some Australian talent.

Re: MILLWALL have signed Australian centre-forward
but he did get a game here in a senior side, then goes to England and gets a short term youth contract. Shows the A League standard really.Old Master wrote:God is an Englishman wrote:From the A League to a Youth Team.Slinky_Pete wrote:Not good enough for the A league.

Hopefully he's up there with the great aussie players we've had like Neill and Cahill or those who have played for australia like Muscat and not like the cabernet ones like Veart and Edwards.

What about Van Blerk or Mitchell, how do you rate their time at Millwall?God is an Englishman wrote:but he did get a game here in a senior side, then goes to England and gets a short term youth contract. Re: MILLWALL have signed Australian centre-forward
Dave Mitchell - The scottish striker was a decent journeyman old fashioned centre forward. Good, solid, proper striker.Brian the Postman wrote: What about Van Blerk or Mitchell, how do you rate their time at Millwall?
Jason Van Blerk - always liked him as an attacking full back. Particularly liked his ball into Mark Beard at Highbury in 96.
Both up there with the good "australian" players we've had.

More importantly - Leeds have signed a German centre forward
The 6ft 2in striker will wear the famous 9 shirt...
Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Pierre-Michel Lasogga on a season-long loan from Hamburg SV following the successful completion of a medical.
The 25 year old German forward has played at the top level in Germany, initially joining Hamburg on loan from Hertha Berlin in 2013, scoring 13 goals in 18 starts, before making the move to the Volksparkstadion permanent in July 2014.
Since then, Lasogga has went on to find the net 30 times in 107 games for Hamburg.
Lasogga represented German Under 21’s between 2011 and 2013 scoring 4 times in 11 appearances.
The 6ft 2in striker becomes Thomas Christiansen’s 16th signing of the summer transfer window and will wear our famous 9 shirt.

Averaging 2 managers a year each bringing in +10 players. Is there a lower league European who hasn't played for leeds yet.Mr Red wrote:More importantly - Leeds have signed a German centre forward

Shane Lowery is probably my favourite of the recent aussies. Thought he had a great deal of potential, in fact I can remember saying I thought he should be getting some socceroo caps, but sadly seems I was wrong.
