Disappointing so many of your countrymen bottled it and wanted to be part of the U.K.

Sorry to disappoint you GIAE but does it take a Scotsman to give an Englishman an English lesson? My grammar is perfectly correct and once again you can check with your English Dictionary. Did they not give you past, present and future tense lessons at English School back in the Motherland? They did in Scotland and it worked wonderfully well for me.

You actually couldn't have me wore wrong. I have a 12ft by 6gt St Georges cross on the wall right behind me. However, hibs and celtic clearly hate being part of the U.K. Which is clearly a country.
Most definitely Scotland is its own country and I was happy that they had a vote to leave the union. I was just disappointed they didn't leave.
As for the EU, I am most definitely voting to leave.
Nice try, better luck next time

The only country that is recognized is the United Kingdom.God is an Englishman wrote:The U.K. Is 4 countries in 1 country.Brian the Postman wrote:How can Scotland and the UK be a country?God is an Englishman wrote:Feel free to show me where I have made bigoted comments.

You said only United Kingdom is recognized. I have you two examples that contradict this. That is all. Admit it, you were wrong.

That would make them states wouldn't it? Re: Hibs win Scottish Cup
Hi is an excellent player when in the mood but terrible when he sulks and can't be bothered. Very frustrating at Celtic at times though to be fair Delia had a fall out with him and spat the dummy. Easily man of the match against Rangers and yes I did think it was bad behaviour for the fans to run on to the pitch as it was always going to end in trouble. The security seemed to be non existent until it was too late. Violence at any level must not be tolerated and must (and will) be dealt with accordingly. That all aside it was a very entertaining game and Hibs deserved the win.Mrs Red wrote:Back on topic guys - I thought Stokes for Hibs looks like a good left sided attacking player

No, you need to read the link again. It makes them 4 countries in 1 country.Brian the Postman wrote:That would make them states wouldn't it? In the same relationship that SA has to Australia.God is an Englishman wrote:

Nice to see someone is trying to stay on topic - I saw Stokes came in on loan to Hibs in the Jan transfer window. I wonder if he will sign on full time now with Hibs after this performance.

A very enjoyable game to watch even though the wrong team won !!!! Proud of the boys !!!!
A much better game than the FA Cup and thankfully I fell asleep.
I agree with Stokes he is a good player and should be playing at a higher level ,.. no disrespect to Hibs !
Disgraceful acts by their supporters. I would never ever think to attack a player & playing staff

Re: Hibs win Scottish Cup
I got lost whilst driving one day and asked for directions in Elizabeth North- found out it can be a very uncivilised place! Got to f*** out of there pretty quickly and found my own way. To be perfectly honest you take the rough with the smooth as it can be heaven on earth or hell itself (living in Scotland). Eventually moved as it was losing it's way without sounding too political. Until you have visited you will not grasp what I am talking about but if you do decide to spread your wings and visit one day please take this advice:Davidovich Bronstein wrote:It's a paradise compared to Stalin's Soviet Union.Grosso wrote:Must be a pretty uncivilised place
1. June to September is best weather wise as you won't freeze your bollocks off (though you may still get soaked to the skin).
2. Keep your religious and political beliefs to yourself. This includes football as it is considered a religion in most parts.
3. Beware the infamous Midges (pronounced Mi-jees), these guys (or rather gals as only the female bites) can be an enormous nuisance during the warmer and balmy summer evenings. Much like the mosquito here it can be a proper pain in the ass, or anywhere else for that matter. These small insects can cause havoc close to rivers, streams, ponds etc.
4. A friendly smile usually goes a long way. Most of us are a friendly bunch and love visitors.
Love it or hate it, it is an experience you are never likely to forget and this goes for the whole of the UK as it all has its own charm, pitfalls and uniqueness.
