Brendan Rodgers to manage Celtic
Celtic have secured the services of Brendan Rodgers on a one year rolling contract and as a Celtic supporter I don't think we could have done any better. The board must have offered him a reasonable amount of money for players and it will be very interesting to see how it all pans out. IMO he was a bit unlucky at Liverpool and I think he will use this experience as a huge motivator and help Celtic play with the attacking zest that their fans crave (fairly subdued under Delia). Celtic will walk the Premier League next season (no disrespect intended to Mark Warburton at Rangers who has done a decent job under the circumstances). However the acid test for Celtic and Rodgers is to show that the club can compete and rub shoulders with Europe's best and this is where the real challenge lies. This will prove challenging as some of the high profile English clubs with bags of money have found out. Looking forward to next season under Rodgers and the return of the 'Auld Firm' games.

Re: Brendan Rodgers to manage Celtic
Good luck with Europe under Rodgers, he struggled the most in the Continental Competitions and showed a genuine disdain for them in the teams performances.
Hopefully he takes Joe Allen with him to Celtic as well.

Re: Brendan Rodgers to manage Celtic
Would be surprised (and disappointed) if Rodgers doesn't do his best to keep Rogic as he was one of the stand outs last season and he appears to have a great attitude. Fully expect him to stay for another season or two as I think Rodgers will challenge him to become more consistent. Celtic will sell when the time is right but too early IMO.ozzie owl wrote:Be interesting to see if Rodgers want to keep Tommy Rogic.
